Why there are two types of garden light strips, single side and both sides power cables?

Firstly, the RGB version has a single-ended power cord for 10 and 15 m, and two-ended power cords for 20 and 25 m, while the RGBW version has a single-ended power cord for 10 m and two-ended power cords for 20 m.

The design of two-end power cords is to ensure that the overall brightness of the ultra-long garden strip remains consistent. Because after the length of the strip exceeds 15 m, the single-ended power supply will lead to a large voltage difference between the beginning and the end of the strip, which will result in a high brightness at one end and a low brightness at the other. In order to prevent this from happening, it is designed to be powered from both ends for lengths over 15 m.
