Should have followed the seller's advice and had them cut the length of the light strip for me. Although I'm relatively handy, I'm not too confident when it comes to waterproof ratings. At first I was worried that not having an accurate length would lead to errors once the pool light strip was installed. In fact since it is a flexible light strip, a slight 2~3 inches longer does not affect the installation at all.

Purchased the IP67 pool light strip. As my pool is still under construction, I am not quite sure of the final dimensions, so I chose to cut and process it myself. As the seller said, I can cut and seal the light strip. But I'm not a professional worker so there is a possibility of mishandling. I suggest you to let the seller to cut it for you, after all, they can do this for free for the buyer.

I was planned to mount the pool light strip on the lower edge of the pool deck because I thought it would hide the strip better. Then I realized that whether I mounted it under the deck or on the pool wall, the light strip would face the same direction and that this light strip is triple illuminated with one side always glowing towards the water. Not to mention that it's easier to secure the mounting clasp on the pool wall than under the deck.

I thought the fixing and lining up of the mounting clips would be tricky, in fact it was actually quite easy according to what I did. The manual suggests to use one buckle every 0.25m. I think it would be easier to use one mounting buckle for 0.5m spacing.

I was torn between IP67 and IP68 pool light strips for a long time before I decided to buy the IP67 pool light strip. I still chose this product and the truth is my clients are now very happy.

I decided to use lights to dress up my house, so I needed dimmable; low voltage; low energy consumption; single extra long strip; outdoor use. This strip of lights from them meets all of those criteria and the quality is in no way comparable to the cheap products on Amazon.

I purchased their RGB pool light strip just when I didn't know how to decorate the spa and this light was recommended to me. It's true that the spa area doesn't need to be too brightly lit, so this is bright and appropriate. I do like colorful lights, so the RGB light also fits. By the way, this spa fixture can be synchronized and controlled with the pool light strip, which is the best.
