Customized Pool Lighting Design Recommendations

Let's take a look at this case study, the pool lighting requirements of Riany, a pool designer from Costa Rica:

1. The pool is a polygonal shape and two of the sides are infinity design.

2. 90° corners to fit perfectly on the pool wall.

3. The light strips were to be installed above the water surface.

4. RGB lighting is required as ambient lighting for the pool edges.

This is the connection schematic for the pool lighting product we supplied at Riany's request. Here are the specific notes .

Note 1. Total 3 pcs IP68 RGB pool light strips: Red line :16.23m； Blue line :6.7m; Green line :8.75m

All pool lights with version 1 end caps. The version 2 end caps can’t reach to the IP68 waterproof.

Note 2. The red line pool light is recommended to use bottom out power cable outlet direction.

The Blue and Green line pool lights are recommended to use straight out power cable outlet direction.

Note 3. It is recommended to expand the size of the gap to W*H 30*30mm, to allow for the securing of light strips and the hiding of tail plugs.

Note 4. You will need to make 2 outlet holes. One for passing through Red and Blue line power cables. The other for passing through the Green line power cable.

We do have the pool light with both sides power cables outlet. However, there is not enough clearance at the 90° bend to place power cables and connectors.

I suggest to add an outlet hole for passing the green ling power cable.

Note 5. The IP68 RGB pool light comes with 10m 5*18AWG bare wire and the connectoion box which connect with the distributor. If you need more extension cable, please let me know.
