Right and Wrong Way to Take Out and Bend the Light Strip

When bending or removing a light strip, it is essential to follow proper procedures to avoid damaging the device. This is the right and wrong way to do it:

The proper method to take out the light strip:

 1. Use the tube to pass through the spool and unroll the luminous tape horizontally.

 2. When installing, one person drags the spool while the other takes out the light strip for installation.

The improper method to take out the light strips:

1. Avoid placing the spool directly on the ground and pulling out the light strip without proper guidance.

2. Refrain from leaving one end of the pool light strip hanging in the air while performing the installation process.

LED Pool Lighting Install on the Corner

The proper method to bend the light strip:

1. Bend the light strip along the side without emitting light.

2. Make sure the bending angle of the light strip is equal to or greater than 60 degrees.

3. Install the strip at right 90-degree angles or curved corners, securing it with a mounting buckle located 4 inches (10 cm) on either side of the curve. Please keep a space of more than 1.65 inches between the light strip and the bend.

This is an IP68 LED strip with a max installation depth of 1 m underwater, designed for use in fountains, water features, rivers, ponds and more. It is suitable for use in non-chlorinated water bodies or municipal tap water.

For T1512 V3.0 Pool Lights

IP68 waterproof, underwater up to a depth of 0.05m/1.97in to 2m/6.56ft.

Ideal for swimming pool and spa edge lighting and underwater lighting with stunning illumination.


Version V3.0 is suitable for use in swimming pools containing chlorine sanitizers. Version V2.0 is recommended for normal tap water and non-chlorinated water bodies such as fountains, water features, ponds and rivers.

IP68 Underwater Pool Light Strip Can be Used in a Sterilised Pool Environment

I purchased a light strip from PaneraLux for my pool. the RGB style can be switched out to colourful colours on the remote control and app above. At night, I turn on the strip and the outdoor pool area is lit up.
It was so noticeable that neighbours passing by were intrigued and asked where we got the strip. I showed them that our strips can also bounce to music and have a running water effect.
For installations below the waterline, I chose the IP68 strip I purchased. This light strip can be used even in pools that are filled with water for long periods of time. I highly recommend you to try this light strip, it can bring you a different experience.

Expensive but worth it

I knew what I wanted, and a true IP68 waterproof light strip couldn't do it on the cheap. So I didn't look for bargains on Amazon from the start. My customer wanted to install ambient light strips below the surface of the pool. This linear RGB neon strip was the only option, even though it was going to be at least 30% more expensive than the IP67 version of the pool strip. But to make sure my client won't complain about me. I still chose this product and the truth is my clients are now very happy.
