How to Make a Waterproof wire Splicing?

This passage only explains the steps for extending and splicing the power cables of RGB/RGBW LED strips and their corresponding accessories. 1.Types of Paneralux’s Product Power Cables

All Paneralux products with power cables can use this splicing kit. The power cables used in Paneralux LED strips and accessories are divided into 2-pin and 5-pin cables.

Single-color LED strips and their corresponding accessories use 2-pin power cables. The power input cable for single-color LED strip; the power input cable for single-color distributor; the power extension cables for single-color LED strip; the power output cable for single-color controller.

RGB/RGBW LED strips and RGB/RGBW corresponding accessories use 5-pin power cables. The power input cable for RGB/RGBW LED strip; the power input cable for RGB/RGBW distributor; the power extension cable for RGB/RGBW; the power output cable for RGB/RGBW controller.

(Note: 2-pin cables can only be connected to 2-pin cables, and 5-pin cables can only be connected to 5-pin cables)

2.When to Use This splicing Kit

Scenario 1: The LED strip's power cable needs to pass through a pre-embedded pipeline, but the pipeline size is too small, and the power cable's end connector can’t pass through. In this case, customers can cut off the end connectors of the LED strip and extension cable, rewire using this docking kit.

Scenario 2: You have your own 2-pin/5-pin power cables that can be connected to our products. (Please confirm that the core wire specifications for 2-pin power cables are 15AWG, and for 5-pin power cables are 18AWG)

Scenario 3: External force causes damage to the power cable, exposing the core wire. To ensure electrical safety and waterproof performance, use this docking kit for connecting and sealing the power cables.
