Pool Light Strip Installation Accessories — Plastic Profiles Using Guiding

Published: Last Updated: Estimated Reading time: 3 mins

When purchasing pool light strips, the first thing users consider is which accessories to use for installation. For individual buyers, the mounting buckle is a good choice. It enables the installation of pool light strips and supports the use of silicone adhesive to fix them, thus avoiding damaging the pool base. In this article, I will introduce another mounting accessory - plastic profiles. Why use plastic profiles? Because plastic profiles have a number of advantages that are unsurpassed by mounting buckles:

Better concealment: recessed mounting with the pool wall.

Perfect fit: the light strip fits the pool perfectly 100%, presenting an excellent linear lighting effect.

Enhance the aesthetics: you can only see the light but not the light strip, enhancing the overall aesthetics of the pool.

Given that the installation of plastic profiles requires a high level of construction experience and handling, we recommend that pool builders and designers use plastic profiles for their projects.

Specifications and buying advice

Specifications of pool light strips

The plastic profile is made of white "polycarbonate", which can be cut and not bent.

Selection of plastic profiles:

Use profiles with lengths of 48.5 cm and 97 cm for surface mounting and recessed mounting.

Profiles with a length of 5 cm can only be used for surface mounting.

Profile mounting surface & fixing method

The installation of plastic profiles is divided into Surface mounting and Recessed mounting. Plastic profiles can be fixed with screws and glued.
